Bromley care home manager honoured for inspiring outstanding care

Natasha Leslie was named the winner of the Leader of the Future Award and the Leading Women in Care Awards.

The Leader of the Future category recognises an individual who demonstrates exceptional leadership potential, innovative thinking and a commitment to driving positive change in the field of social care.

Natasha has been manager of Coloma Court Care Home since 2022 and has been instrumental in various improvements across the facility including the use of new monitoring technology to reduce falls and improve decision-making. In partnership with 2iC-Care, Natasha and her team have implemented Andi, a remote monitoring system which keeps track of an individual’s movements, light levels, accessing the bathroom and watching television during the day. As a result, the team have strengthened their care planning and improved patient care.

Natasha said: “I feel truly honoured to receive this award and feel privileged to lead a team of talented and dedicated people who all want to give the very best care to our residents.”

Paying tribute to Natasha, the awards said: “Under her leadership, Coloma Court has flourished, achieving an outstanding CQC inspection, reflecting the extraordinary care. Natasha’s commitment to continuous improvement ensures that residents receive the best possible care, families have peace of mind, and staff feel proud to be part of her team.”

Coloma Court, which is run by Healthcare Management Trust, provides a range of nursing care, personalised respite services and specialised dementia support.
