Healthcare Management Trust and UMi Forge Partnership for Sustainable Office Space in Durham

We are pleased to announce a significant milestone in our mission to provide not-for-profit health and social care within England and Wales with the opening of a new office space. HMT has embarked on an exciting partnership with UMi, a B-Corp organisation dedicated to sustainability and community engagement, to establish an office base at their Navigators Point premises in Durham.

The move represents a collaborative effort between two organisations that both share a strong commitment to sustainability, innovation, and community engagement.

With several members of HMT’s Shared Support Services team already operating in the North East, Navigators Point was the ideal location to set up a central office. This move aligns seamlessly with HMT’s growth plans and dedication to green practices.

Nichola Stefanou, CEO of Healthcare Management Trust, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating,

“We are excited to have joined forces with UMi in our pursuit of a more sustainable office base. This partnership supports our growth plans, and it’s great to have partnered with an organisation that shares very similar values to HMT.”

Nicki Clark, Chief Executive Officer at UMi, welcomed the collaboration, saying,

“We are delighted to welcome the team from HMT as housemates at our home in Durham. The values of our two companies are really well aligned, so it’s great that not only do we share a desire to help others but also the roof over our heads.”

HMT’s new Durham office space will serve as a hub for our Shared Support Services team to collaborate, giving us the opportunity to further our strategic plans for the charity.
