Description

This Isn’t Just Activities. This Is Leadership.

Activities (Wellbeing) Supervisor
St Quentin Care Home
Full-Time

Ready to Lead Something That Actually Matters?

This is not a coordination role.
This is not just running activities.

This is your opportunity to:

  • Lead a team
  • Shape the resident experience
  • Build a wellbeing programme that truly makes a difference

At St Quentin, we are looking for someone who doesn’t just deliver activities — but owns the entire wellbeing culture of the home.

Your Impact

You will lead the design and delivery of a full Wellbeing Programme that:

  • Promotes independence, choice, and dignity
  • Supports mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing
  • Reflects each resident’s individual story, preferences, and needs

You will:

  • Lead and develop the activities team
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all sessions
  • Embed person-centred care and the “Ageing Well” approach
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to elevate the home’s overall experience

This role is about ownership, not support.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Designing and leading a structured, engaging Wellbeing Programme
  • Managing, coaching, and developing the activities team
  • Ensuring continuity of activities during absence or operational changes
  • Monitoring resident engagement, mood, and wellbeing outcomes
  • Managing budgets, resources, and activity planning
  • Ensuring all sessions are safe, inclusive, and aligned to best practice
  • Working collaboratively with staff, families, and the wider community
  • Promoting the home and building a strong external presence

You will also take responsibility for:

  • Rotas, absence management, and team oversight
  • Maintaining high standards of documentation and compliance
  • Safeguarding and resident safety
  • Continuous improvement through feedback and evaluation

What Sets You Apart

You are:

  • A confident leader who can motivate and develop a team
  • Highly organised, with strong planning and delivery skills
  • Passionate about person-centred care and wellbeing
  • Comfortable managing budgets, rotas, and performance
  • Able to balance creativity with structure and accountability

You understand:

  • CQC Fundamental Standards
  • The importance of meaningful activity in care settings
  • How to translate strategy into day-to-day delivery

What You Get

  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Occupational Health Support
  • Health and Wellbeing Programme
  • Long Service Awards
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Paid Enhanced DBS
  • In-house Mental Health First Aiders
  • Eye Test Vouchers
  • Blue Light Card eligibility
  • Free Parking

Final Word

This is a leadership role.

You will shape how residents live, feel, and experience each day.

If you are ready to take ownership, lead a team, and deliver something meaningful — we want to hear from you.
